SignalBlast.com Is Purchased by Oglecom

On January, 23, 2007, Oglecom Internet completed the purchase of the assets of SignalBlast.com. SignalBlast, another wireless Internet provider (WISP), currently provides service in Davis Junction, Holcomb, Leaf River, Silver Ridge, and various other locations in Ogle County. Here at Oglecom, we are very excited about providing service to our new customers in these new locations. We also are excited about the planned improvements we will be making to the network. New Wireless Service Locations

Thanks to the support of Consolidated Grain in Franklin Grove, Oglecom is happy to announce that we now provide service in and around the Franklin Grove area. We have also added additional locations south of Franklin Grove.

More Bandwidth

Oglecom teams up with Rock River Internet to provide additional bandwidth and redundancy to its network. Rock River Internet of Rockford, IL, has been providing high-speed solutions to businesses in the Rockford area since 1997 and has a great reputation for delivering high quality service. This additional service will give us another distinct route to the Internet. This means more reliable service for you. Look for the new service to come online soon.

Oglecom Adds Additional Staff

In addition to the help we get from Eric and Lynn at Ashton Computer Center, and in preparation for all of this wonderful growth we've been fortunate enough to enjoy, Oglecom has been able to add three more employees:

Laura has been working in the computer industry for over 11 years, and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Oglecom. She is an awesome troubleshooter and problem-solver, and most likely will be the person that will help you should you need any assistance.

Geoff, a Chana native, with over 10 years of experience in construction, is now doing full time installation and field service work for us. It's nice to know the person who is installing equipment in your house actually knows how houses are built!

When he isn't on tour with Metallica, Jason is working for us part time doing some behind-the-scenes programming. Jason has also been working in the Internet community for well over 15 years.
